The key to KEI

You may have heard of the Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI) invented by Sumantra Roy. The formula for the index is:

The idea behind the index is to quickly tell you how competitive your keyword phrase is in comparision to how much traffic it will recieve. A high index number means that you have high traffic and low competition.
