According to The Australian, Honda has started production on their hydrogen fuel cell cars.
"Japanese automakers are in a race to produce fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly vehicles amid soaring prices at the pump, spreading their bets on an array of technology including hybrid, electric and fuel cell automobiles."
Take a look at what Top Gear had to say about the Honda FCX Clarity Hydrogen Fuel Cell car:

This is pretty awesome. I like the concept and what can I say, cheap fuel. :D Unfortunately there are still no Hydrogen refueling stations here and from what I've heard, they'll only distribute the car to places with hydrogen stations. But I believe that FCX is also a hybrid which will give a gasoline equivalent of 68 miles per gallon (29 km per liter). Still consumes less compared to my civic which consumes 13km per liter of gas.
