Some of the great minds of our time have repeated the phrase "Where there is a problem, there is potential." Every day, if/when something upsets you, or presents itself as an obstacle, the universe is giving you the opportunity to create a solution, because the likelihood is that others have met the same hardship and would benefit from your creation as well. Helping yourself is one thing, but helping others is really the path to true spiritual growth (it's where the money is too!). To that end, I find myself coming up with creative solutions to what I consider problems/obstacles in my life, on a daily basis.

Additionally, I find that I feel really fulfilled when I am able to come up with some new solution (now if only I could find some monetary and engineering support to get them out into the world!) to an issue I'm facing. Therefore, creativity not only keeps the mind working and sharp, but it also lends to a healthy emotional balance (and possibly a fruitful bank account!).

Finally (on the spiritual note), to create, is to consciously place yourself in the image of God - The Original and Great Creator!

The entries will be judged on:

Terms and Conditions:
1. Only one entry per week, per person or website.
2. You must post a review about this competition on your site, within the competition timeframe.
For example, if the competition is for the month of May 2008, and you have decided to enter the competition anytime in the May period, you will need to post a review of the competition ONLY ONCE between May 1st - 31st 2008. However, if you decide to enter another competition that is in the June 2008 period, a new post about this competition on your website must be made.
3. Alternatively, if you think you will be entering Vivid Lamp's competition each week, you can just place the competition logo on your site on the front page where it is visible to view.
4. An article of 150 words minimum and of 300 words maximum can be submitted.
5. Your article must be your own original work. Plagiarism will not be accepted.
6. Any article that Vivid Lamp deems as offensive will be rejected without question. Offensive material can include explicit language, defamatory comments to a culture/group/individual/gender/age or anything that Vivid Lamp deems as offensive.
7. Vivid Lamp does not claim ownership of Content you submit or make available for inclusion on our website. However, with respect to Content you submit or make available for inclusion through this competition, you grant Vivid Lamp the right to reproduce your work in both digital and print form.
8. All prizes will be paid via paypal only. You must have an active paypal account to claim your prize.
9. All winners will be given free advertisement on Vivid Lamp's website (www.vividlamp.com) showing their nominated 125 x 125 card for 1 week. The 125 x 125 card that will be displayed on Vivid Lamp's website will be the one that you have elected to use during your registration for this competition.
10. Your work may be included in a magazine in the future published by Vivid Lamp.
